THE SHOW:

The 45 minute show begins with a floor show, featuring a variety of mediums including zills, veil, sword, stick and wings. Then the children and staff dress up in belly dance costumes. Next we then learn belly dancing moves and incorporate musical instruments. To end we learn a short choreography.

THE DANCER:

Zahra, the belly dancer, is an early childhood teacher, with 10 years experience in child care and has a working with children clearance and senior first aid. Zahra has been professionally belly dancing for nearly 10 years and has been on TV!

EDUCATIONAL ELEMENT:

A follow up lesson plan is available to regularly implement belly dancing into your program. Accreditation will love this show, as it celebrates multiculturalism through middle eastern music and dance from Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon and Greece.

BOOKINGS:

Shows are available both mornings and afternoon weekdays and on request on weekends. Show costs $170 inc GST.
